Introducing – Horage Tourbillon 1 – The Most Accessible Swiss Tourbillon You Can Buy

Just a few years ago, TAG Heuer shocked the industry with the Carrera Heuer-02T Chronograph, the “cheapest” Swiss tourbillon at the time. Just shy of CHF 15,000, nothing outside of the Asian market could touch it. Borrowing from the Carrera Heuer-01 case, it was sporty and quite controversial. Let’s say a few Swiss giants weren’t […]

ISO-FIX: Depressed? Here are 15 fun, guilt-free watches you can buy right now for under $1000

There have been several strange side effects of the rubbish situation we currently find ourselves in. Pushbikes, for example, are now more valuable than palladium. And because everything social (cafes, restaurants, bars, clubs etc.) is closed, it’s enabled some of us to save cash that we otherwise would’ve blown on boujee smashed avo brunches. That 2017 Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller. I went back to our archives and found a video as well as this long review with absolutely stunning pictures by our main man, Jason Reekie. I was enamoured all over again. It reminded me that, while this lockdown and pause in new releases is surreal and frankly annoying, it is giving us more time than ever to reflect on past as well as present greatness. So here, I combine them into a supersized in-depth review, with a couple of videos and an owner’s perspective to complement it. For good measure, there’s also the video from Baselworld when we first encountered the watch. Scroll to the end of the post to see that, and a more thicc version of me too. If…
