It’s no secret that most things made today are meant to be used until they start to show signs of wear and then promptly thrown in the garbage. That’s basically the total antithesis of how we think over here at HODINKEE HQ, and we imagine most of you are on our side. It turns out, so is the Swedish government. The team over at Fast Company’s Co.Exist website takes a look this week at new legislation that would make it cheaper to repair products made to last and drive up costs for companies who try to make throw-away junk.
