Jaeger-LeCoultre Updates The Master Ultra-Thin Collection With Colored Dials
At SIHH 2017, some new Master Ultra-Thin watches went almost unnoticed, as the cool Master Control with Sector Dial somehow stole the show. However, the old Maison was not short of watches to feed the 2017 catalogue. Today, we take a look at 4 unapologetically elegant new watches with classic style and functions, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra-Thin Small Second, the Master Ultra-Thin MoonPhase, the Master Ultra-Thin Power Reserve and the Master Ultra-Thin Perpetual Calendar, all of them now paired with grey or blue dial.
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Collection Sector Dials (Celebrating 25 years of Precision)
25 years ago, the highly-respectable manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre innovated not with a new complication or a new material, but by implementing the “1000 Hours Control” procedure, an in-house certification comprising a series of radical tests to ensure that the watches are reliable and precise. As a tribute to this anniversary, Jaeger-LeCoultre had no best idea than to create a entire new collection of Master Control, with just stunning sector dials. Today on Monochrome, we take a look at these 3 watches: the Master Chronograph, the Master Geographic and the Master Control Date (and wait to see the prices…)

Jaeger-LeCoultre released a pair of classic inspired timepieces at the latest SIHH. Hands-On With The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Chronograph Reference 1538530
Jaeger-LeCoultre had a strong game this year during the SIHH in my opinion. It is actually one of the Richemont brands that didn’t seem to be searching for its own identity, but did what it does best: design great watches using their heritage and impressive collection of in-house movements. The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Chronograph is my favorite […]
Haute Complication: Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Gyrotourbillon 1
While the initial version of the Master Gyrotourbillon 1 was introduced in 2004, this complication is still part of Jaeger-LeCoultre current collection. Why this is, became clear at the SIHH, where the brand introduced us to a new edition of this iconic watch.
Hands-on with the new Jaeger-leCoultre Reverso Tribute Moon
It is hard to imagine that a watch like the Reverso could become even more successful. With the creation of the “Reverso Tribute”-collection, this is exactly what happened. Now that Jaeger-LeCoultre has released the Reverso Tribute Moon it moves to even higher ground.
Five Favorite Photo’s Of SIHH 2017
The SIHH gives you the opportunity to see and handle some of the most amazing new watches. All those masterpieces available at a single venue is exhilarating yet also hard work, especially for Haute Time’s photographer Alex Teuscher. Light conditions are always challenging at a fair, and there is a constant pressure to finish up in time make it to the next appointment. Simultaneously it is also important to respect the subject and photograph it in an environment that it suits. In the digital age, you can, fortunately, see very quickly if you are on point, and very little things are as gratifying as ending a long yet exciting day, seeing that the fruit of your work is actually looking pretty awesome!
Review: Jaeger-Lecoultre Geophysic Tourbillon Universal Time
Jaeger LeCoultre updates the Geophysic Collection’s worldtime watch with a tourbillon, making it the world’s first worldtimer to have a flying tourbillon. The production of the Jaeger-Lecoultre Tourbillon Universal Time will be limited to 100 pieces. During SIHH we had the chance to hold it, look at it and feel it. In this…
