Rolex, Omega, Patek Phillipe, Tudor, TAG Heuer and many more… Tomorrow, the 2018 edition of world’s largest watch fair, Baselworld, will open its doors. Hundreds of new watches will be revealed to members of the press, retailers and collectors. Even though the general consensus around the fair itself seems quite negative, the industry is in relatively good shape and this won’t prevent the MONOCHROME team to “veni, vidi, referi” – “go, see, report” live from the fair, with an incredibly large coverage. The SIHH 2018, the first watch fair of the year, kicks off on Monday, 15 January. And we will be there with the “big guns”… For five days, 18 of the most prestigious and established brands, as well as 17 independent watchmakers, will unveil their new collections and we, at MONOCHROME, are committed to bring you all the important novelties and make sure that you don’t miss anything from the show. Here’s what you can expect to see.
Today, we’re extremely proud to announce that tomorrow, 11 December 2017, our largest video project ever (and we’ve done quite a few – see here) will go live, and it will last for no less than 5 days. It took us some great efforts to gather all these amazing guests, to find the right angle, to define what it would look like, and of course to film it… Here it is, “The Speedmaster Chronicles” will start tomorrow 5:00 PM (Europe Time) – 11:00 AM (New York time) – 12:00 PM (Hong Kong time).
Today, I am proud to announce that MONOCHROME is, again, moving one step forward. Last year, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of our watch-magazine and, in addition to that, we increased our team of experts who work hard to provide the articles we hope you enjoy to read. Now, it is another announcement that I’d like to share with you, as we’re launching the new, redesigned and re-stocked MONOCHROME Shop.
