Heuer Autavia Jo Siffert Collector’s Edition by Calibre 11

Few names in the world of watchmaking are as iconic as Jo Siffert – a well-known pilot, strongly linked to vintage chronograph watches. Referring first to 1970s Heuer Autavia watches, with their Panda dial and bright blue accents, the name has been revived several times already, but today is quite special. Indeed, our friend David Chalmers from Calibre11.com, a reference for everything linked to Heuer and TAG Heuer, has developed a new limited edition with TAG, the Heuer Autavia Jo Siffert Collector’s Edition by Calibre 11 – and it looks quite stunning.

Talking Future of Singer Reimagined with Rob Dickinson & Marco Borraccino (and a look at the new Track 1 Geneva Edition)

Back in June 2017, we were one of the first media to introduce to you a new brand named Singer Reimagined. The brainchild of Rob Dickinson, founder of Singer Vehicle Design, and Marco Borraccino, watch designer, the first timepiece they presented, the Track 1, was a super-cool, 1970s-inspired chronograph, which reimagined the way a stopwatch could be displayed – thanks to a crazy movement by Agenhor. After we took the time to talk cars and watches with Rob, it was the right moment for us to go back to Geneva and to sit down again with these guys, to talk future of Singer Reimagined with Rob & Marco (video above).

The Franck Dubarry Crazy Wheel – Bold Design, Original Display

A brand of recent creation, the name Franck Dubarry may sound familiar. Franck Dubarry is a French entrepreneur and watch designer. Before launching the eponymous brand, he made his reputation in the advertising sector and in the watch industry by creating TechnoMarine in 1997. A fantastic commercial success, TechnoMarine presented truly original concepts; for instance, it was one of the first to combine diamond and rubber. After 10 years and selling over 2.5 million watches, Franck Dubarry sold his brand to a private equity fund.

The MING 17.03 GMT – The Third Instalment In The MING Watch Series (Live Pics)

Just over six months ago now, we introduced you to an interesting new brand and its striking first timepiece: the MING 17.01. These watches were, to put it mildly, very well received. In fact, both versions of the 17.01 sold out almost immediately. This initial collection was followed a few months later by the MING 19.01, equipped with an exclusive movement from Schwarz Etienne. In what seems like an impossibly short amount of time, the brand today unveils another new model, the MING 17.03, which is available to order immediately. As always, MONOCHROME has all the details.
