Just Because: Two Of The Most Expensive, Most Rare, And Most Absurd Rolex Daytonas In The World, Next To Each Other (Reference 6270 x2!)

Today is the Oman National Day – bet many of you did not know that. But it’s true – the day marks Oman’s independence from Portugal in 1650, and is celebrated by way of a two-day break and several state-organized events, including parades, fireworks, camel races, you name it. Being that it’s Oman National Day, I was reminded of some photos I had taken not long ago – actually the day Alfredo Paramico came by the office to film an interview about owning the now $11 million steel 1518. The photos are of two Daytonas, both of which belong to Alfredo, and both of which were made for his Majesty Qaboos Bin Said of Oman. They are indeed, two of the most rare, expensive, and patently absurd Daytonas on planet earth – and we have them next to each other.
