Nomos Timeless Club II Watch

The original Nomos Timeless Club watch sold out in only a few weeks. While we’re humbled that all of our limited editions have done well, none of them have received quite the persistent attention of the original Club. Of course, we’d never simply do a reissue. Thus, it was obvious that a new version of the Nomos Timeless Club would need to be produced.

A Watch Collection Begins: GaryG And His Bucherer Chronometer

Just as the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, a collection, no matter its eventual size or value, begins with a single watch. This is the story of the first watch that I bought for myself, one that I still own and wear 45 years later: a chronometer bearing the Bucherer name.

Review: Girard-Perregaux Place Girardet 225th Anniversary

Hands-On: The Girard-Perregaux Cat’s Eye Tourbillon With Gold Bridge

Tourbillons. They seem to be everywhere these days, and whether you love them or not, they are here to stay. Let me start off by saying I am not generally a huge fan of tourbillons; usually I find them overdone and and a wee-bit flashy. That is not to say I don’t like any tourbillon wristwatches though (that Lange that Stephen wrote about the other day is pretty legit), just that I think some brands tend to pop a tourbillon into a watch when possible, raise the price, and ignore whether or not it’s actually improving the product at all. However, I’m always happy to see a ladies’ watch with something more complicated than a stock quartz ticker inside, and that brings us to the Girard-Perregaux Cat’s Eye Tourbillon with Gold Bridge.
