Introducing – Hublot Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph Concrete Jungle made with Artist Tristan Eaton

Hublot is no stranger for doing the unorthodox thing, whether it being on the technical side or on the aesthetical side. Talk about innovative technical prowess and the Hublot LaFerrari pops up. Mention weird or wonderful materials and perhaps you think of the Hublot Classic Fusion Berluti, with its leather dials. Now though, Hublot incorporates a rough-and-tough material, not often used for watchmaking: concrete! Here is the Hublot Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph Concrete Jungle made with Artist Tristan Eaton.

Casio G-Shock Master Of G Gulfmaster GWNQ1000-1A Watch Review

The Casio G-Shock “Master of G” Gulfmaster collection is unique for a few interesting reasons. Sort of a dive watch, and sort of a hardcore marine-themed watch, what further separates the Gulfmaster collection from other G-Shock models is actually how they look.

VIDEO: Rodger Corser on acting, coming home and Tudor watches

rodger-corser-tudor-sliderI first noticed it for a split-second in Channel 9’s new show Doctor Doctor. Pause. Rewind. Yep, there was no mistaking the black bezel and dial on the wrist of Hugh Knight (the titular doctor) – definitely a Tudor Black Bay. I filed that knowledge away in the part of my brain dedicated to celebrity watch-spotting, not imagining for a minute that a few weeks later I’d be having a drink with Rodger Corser, in a tiny laneway bar, talking about that exact timepiece. Watches tell you a lot about a character, and a bad choice is immediately obvious. But for Rodger, the Black Bay Black is more than just a smart props decision, it’s a deeply personal link, one that ties into his other on-screen personas and informs his craft. Of course we spoke about more than just watches – we discussed how he felt coming back to his hometown of Melbourne, as well as the importance of timing, and making the most out of opportunities when they arise. We highly recommend you watch the full three-minute story, but if you want to cut straight to the watches and the story of the Tudor Rodger’s grandfather passed down through the family,…

Photo Report: The NOMOS Glashütte Metro Chronometer For HODINKEE Launch Party

This past Thursday we launched the NOMOS Glashütte Metro Chronometer For HODINKEE, a limited edition of just 100 watches. The HODINKEE team and NOMOS founder Roland Schwertner welcomed guests in New York City and a few lucky collectors were even able to take their watches home with them that evening.
