But Aldrin isn’t the only one thinking about cosmic timekeeping. Dr. John Patterson is quietly making atomic wristwatches in Hawaii (of all places) and spoke with online magazine Inverse about how his Cesium 133 watch works, why he’s making atomic watches at all, and why his tickers might just be the right choice for a trip to the red planet.
