Spotted – Daniel Craig at 2019 British GP With Omega Seamaster Bullhead (and a peek at “Bond 25” possible watch)

Most people over the weekend were watching Wimbledon for the Men’s and Women’s championship matches in addition to the 2019 Cricket World Cup. The 2019 Formula One British Grand Prix at Silverstone was slightly overshadowed by these two events. But for those who watched it, Daniel Craig, who plays James Bond and is currently filming parts of the upcoming “Bond 25” film, was in attendance for the race won by English driver Lewis Hamilton. And he had something special on the wrist.

The Grand Tour’s Jeremy Clarkson Wears An Omega Railmaster XXL On Screen… And He Shows It In His Own Way

We knew already that Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, when presenting Top Gear, were watch-enthusiasts. Sure, the level of the watches on their wrists was of a different league as the cars they drove, as we told you some time ago when we compared their watches to cars… (see our “Watching Celeb Watches” article focussed on these three guys). Now they’re not on Top Gear anymore, and season two of their new show The Grand Tour has just started, we still get to see some fairly nice watches on their wrists. Episode 2 of the second season went a step (or two) further, as not only Jeremy Clarkson can be seen wearing an Omega Railmaster XXL but he even makes quite a statement about it… the Clarkson-way, of course. In the world of watches, it’s rather common to have watches “placed” in movies (sometimes, it’s a bit more than just that however). That’s a practice named “product placement” and, in certain measures, it seems to help selling watches (do you feel the irony here…?) However, the story here is much cooler than the usual “watch in a movie” and has been dictated by passion, and with one of the coolest watches around. Spotted – Mille vs. AP, Nadal vs. Wawrinka, The Epic Roland-Garros 2017 Final

Epic… Simple as that. Indeed, this year, the final of the 2017 French Open is a must-see. On one side is the one-and-only Rafael Nadal, who will be fighting this year for the “decima”, meaning his possible 10th victory at Roland-Garros (something that has never been done before). On the other side is Stanislas Wawrinka, winner of the 2015 Edition and one that everybody knows to be quite a competitor. But this Roland-Garros 2017 Final will also see an incredible battle of watches, with Richard Mille and Audemars Piguet challenging for optimal visibility
